Created in the final days of his life, this touching finger painting by my late father Duncan captures both simplicity and profound beauty. Painted during therapeutic activities while living with dementia, Duncan's blossom tree — with its warm brown trunk and soft pink leaves — stands as a powerful symbol of resilience, love, and the fleeting beauty of life. Though my father was not a trained artist, this piece speaks from the heart more deeply than any practiced hand could.
Each branch and bloom carries the spirit of a man who, even in his final chapter, found a way to leave something beautiful behind. "Blossom of Memory" is more than a painting — it is a legacy of connection, tenderness, and enduring love.

There is only one original of this painting, and I will never part with it, as my father painted this in his final days on earth, with nothing but some paint and his fingers.
